A Spark of Light
I reduced my antidepressants two weeks ago, and have been working on art spontaneously for the first time since… gosh, I don’t even know when. It gives me hope! The current project is a repeat pattern lino print to use on some shirts.
After doing some test printing on low-weight printer paper, I found myself doing some spontaneous mark-making using the leftover rolled ink. It was entirely done with my fingers (“I sure hope this printing ink isn’t toxic!”), plus some printed eyes cut out from a test page at the end. I am surprised by how happy I am with it!
